Welcome to The Bassic Shave. My name is Myron Bennell Carroll and I have been shaving my head and face (at least part of it) for over 20 years. I have used most of the popular methods and come to the conclusion that the straight blade is the best shave you can get. With this blog, I will explore the topic with you and share how I have come to this conclusion.

I am also a professional musician. having this as a career means that i have to maintain my appearance. The music business is as much about how you look as it is about what you sound like. So I have a vested interest in finding what keeps me looking my best.

In the next few posts, I will go through my history with hair removal and grooming. I will discuss the different methods I have tried and how they did or did not work for me. So feel free to make yourself comfortable and I hope you enjoy the ride.
